Roanoke RailRoader Contra Dance Weekend

  • We are guests of the Moose Lodge. Please respect the property and signs so that we may be invited to use the facility again.
  • Set up camp in areas designated by signage and on facility map.
  • Post camping ribbon somewhere on tent designating yourself as a Roanoke Railroader camper.
  • Camp quiet time (no amplifiers or loud noise) : Thursday after 11:00PM, Friday & Saturday after 12:00 Midnight
  • Adult drinking allowed behind the Moose Lodge building, no alcohol in front of Moose Lodge !
  • No drugs or weapons allowed on Moose Lodge property
  • There is limited cold food storage available in the Moose Lodge; please see Registration volunteer for assistance with this.
  • Dancers' Service Table near registration includes area maps, First Aid supplies and phone charging station. Roanoke Railroader and Moose Lodge are not responsible for your cell phone.
  • Continental breakfast served in dance hall Saturday and Sunday morning 7:30am - 9:30am coffee ready earlier !
  • 2 Shower stalls and bathrooms available at all times, there are also 2 extra Port-O-Johns for campers added. Pool shower rooms and pool bathrooms also available when pool is closed.
  • Pool passes available for $9 at registration table
  • Please see the volunteer host for any after-hour problems or emergencies. Host camper will be marked with a sign and solar lights at night .
